Dr.
Chen was the nicest person. He always had a smile for me
when we met. He always asked me how I was doing and asked about my
family. He was genuine he really did care. He will be truely missed. It
was an honor to work with him since I came to the department in 1990.
My prayers are with his family.

Dr. Chen was one of the most gracious gentlemen I've ever had the privilege of knowing. His contribution to Astronomy was remarkable and he will be terribly missed. God's speed, Dr. Chen.
