Gailya Kay Beasley, age 86, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, February 28, at her residence.
We will receive family and friends Tuesday, March 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Park North Riverside Drive, Gainesville. The funeral services are scheduled in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, March 3, at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Beasley was born November 24, 1934, in Duplin County, NC. She was preceded in death; by her husband William Kenneth Beasley, parents Daisy Sawyer Dilbeck, Matthew Hargrove, and Alfred Stanley, and siblings Terry Murdock and Sherry Wright. Gail loved and followed God. She was a dedicated wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother. She was a member and faithful server at Riverbend Church. She was an achiever, she set goals and worked to meet them. She was a successful entrepreneur developing and growing a thriving salon business, Lads and Lassies. Gail was a creative and talented artist that shared her talents in books, exhibits, and with others. She was caring and giving to many in her life.
Gailya is survived by; sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Anne Beasley of Gainesville, Michael and Sharon Beasley of Gainesville; daughters and sons-in-law Peggy and Randy Copeland of Gainesville, Brenda and Ronnie Bell of Cleveand, and Carolyn and Mark Adams of Gainesville; 14 grandchildren, 21 greatchildren, many neices/nephews, family, and friends.
