Mike and I were good friends, and shared lots of good times, adventures and now memories. We played sports, watched sports ( I too was at the Ice Bowl), went on double dates, graduated High School, visited our share of bars, formed a not too shabby two man Foosball team and were rooomies during our college days at Madison. We did see a Pink Floyd concert there .... But NOT THREE STONES concerts .WOW! I was so sad to learn of the passing of both Mike and Mr Chervenka.
I stayed over one night, and Mike and I snuck out with the keys to the Chevy, pushed it on to the street, started it and cruised around town. Later, we silently coasted into the driveway, and snuck back into the totally dark house .... And hear. "Doug go home." A light switched on, and we were standing face to face with a not very happy Mr C. We babble something like "it's 3:30 in the morning!" After looking at us for quite awhile, he retrieves the car keys from Mike's hand, walks out of the room, switches off the light ... And says "you can stay."
Like Father. .... Like Son.
Two very cool guys.

Mike will be missed. He was an inspiration to me when I was going through my Dental journey that we experienced around the same time. I felt a little insecure about the change, but Mike was there with encouraging words that helped me through the life changing moment. He always went out of his way to see how I was doing. Mike had a great sense of humor and we shared many laughs when I was posted at the Valet entrance. Rest in peace my friend, and thank you for being a part of my journey, we had alot of commen interests and I'll miss discussing past and present life with you. Take care my friend and please say to my Mom for me, she'll make you laugh too. Your friend always. I met Mike while working at the Casino in the early 90's. I used to tease he reminded me of Robin Williams, and fitting Mike always loved a good laugh!!! Sincere condolences to his family and close friends, a good man indeed!
