Thomas Stuart Grozier

Thomas Stuart Grozier, 80, Nokomis and formerly of Bradenton, died Aug. 8, 2006. He was born Jan. 12, 1926, in Glasgow, Scotland, and came to Bradenton 25 years ago from Hollywood, Fla. He was a police officer for the Port Authority of New York and was past president of Signal 8-2 Club of Florida, a Port Authority police retirees association. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific, and was a member of the American Legion, Venice chapter. Survivors include sons Kenneth M. of Boynton Beach and Christopher J. of Hollywood; 10 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Gulf Gate Chapel.
