Eddie and I played little league baseball together. He pitched and played second base. Eddie had excellent control & developed a curve ball few batters could hit. We both loved baseball, and I can remember once when we skipped school to watch the World Series. We were reprimanded by the school.
Later in life, we participate in business ventures in Dallas, Texas. If anyone of his family would be more interested in knowing more about their Dad, I will be glad to share experiences - Bob Bobbitt - (972) 979-3333.
Eddie was a great man and a good friend

My husband Don Holick went to Bellaire and was in the class of 65 at Texas A&M with your husband & father.
Don really liked him & shared many funny jokes & memories with him as well as some fishing trips.
My condolences, DJ Holick

With Eddie's passing I feel that a giant oak has fallen.
This world is a poorer place without him...
We will miss him!

Eddie and I played little league baseball together. He pitched and I was his catcher. Eddie had good control and a nice curve ball, no one could hit him. When he wasn't pitching, he played second base - I never saw him make an error.
We played football together at Bellaire until my father was transferred to Kansas City.
After collage, I worked on a few business
projects with Eddie (Ayrshire Corp.) in Dallas. Like his Dad, Eddie was a good businessman - honest, smart, and reliable. Men like him will be missed by all who knew him.
