Joseph Hubacek Obituary

JOSEPH E. HUBACEK, born in Ennis, TX on July 20, 1915, to the late Frank Hubacek and Molly Amelia Rosprim Hubacek, died peacefully on Thursday, September 17th in Houston, Texas. Joe was married to the late Vesta Pearl Rapp Hubacek and Suzy Parker Hubacek. He resided in Houston for 67 years and served in the US Army during WWII. Joseph worked for Reed-Cleco for 30 years as a Mechanical Engineer. He served many roles within his church and was very devoted to his family.Joseph is survived by his daughter, Linda Lee Hubacek Walker and husband Jim of Houston; son, Phillip Hubacek and wife Ginger of Phoenix, Arizona; sister Frances and husband Kirby Krause of Austin; stepson, Charlie Stringfellow of Pasadena; and preceded in death by one son, Jerry E. Hubacek. Grandchildren are Tiffany Walker Natkin and husband Brett; Brandis Walker Nichols and husband Chad; and Candace Ann Hubacek; great grandchildren are Lauren Natkin, Payton Natkin, Walker Nichols and Savannah Nichols.Visitations will be held Sunday, September 20th from 5 to 8 at Forest Park Lawndale. Family graveside services will be held Monday, September 21st at 10:00 at Forest Park East.
