JOSEPH LANCE LEBLANC. passed away on October 25, 2009 at home, surrounded by his family, after a long illness with associated heart complicationLance was born in Houston, Texas on June 3rd, 1965 to J. Michael and Karen Sue LeBlanc.Graduated from Dobie High, briefly attended college, became a stock broker, and held various other fields of employment. A "free spirit" that was first to see the humor and forgiveness in all people and all situation. A voracious reader of Ayn Rand, especially "Atlas Shrugged" and her other works. He desired a deeper undestanding and knowledge of those around him and was the first to offer his help. A warm smile and cheerfulness gave hope to all that knew him.Lance travel throughout the western state and lived in Malaysia for a short time Blessed with a remarkable memory for detail, he gave 'life' to the many adventures he experienced.Life may have been short, but Lance lived it to the fullest.Lance is survived by his father, J. Michael LeBlanc; Grandfather, Joseph Takacs; Brother, Brant LeBlanc and wife, Nora; Aunts and Uncles, Darnell and Marcel Carrascosa, and Randy and Susan LeBlanc; Nephews and Niece, Justin, Chrystal, Alexander, Steele, and Brandon.Mass will be given at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 6, 2009, at St. Luke at the Evangelist, 11011 Hall Road, Houston, Texas

I remember Lance as a very kind soul who would go out of his way to help others. I am glad that I got to meet him when he accompanied his grandfather to visit my mom. He was so helpful to his grandfather, and that really endeared him to us. I am sorry for your loss. Martha Cone (Corvallis, OR)

I was so sorry to hear about Lance's passing. I had not seen him in many years, but he was in every happy memory I had from high school. My thoughts and prayers are with you, I will miss him terribly.

Went to High School with Lance and he was the funniest guy I knew! Super person and a great freind! So sorry to his family, I know you will miss him terribly but I hope he left you all with a
lifetime of great memories!! Lance, you will be missed and that is the best legacy a man can leave.

Dear Mike, Brant & family;

I am so very sorry to hear about Lance's passing away. I truly feel he is up in heaven rejoicing with his Mother,Karen. Lance touched lives on this earth. I will always remember Lance as our "cheerful, good friend and next door neighbor" back during our wonderful childhood years in Candlelight Oaks.
