John Burns Obituary
Marty is preceded in death by his father, John P. Burns. He is survived by his mother, Lucy Madden Burns: daughter, Heather Burns; son, John Burns, and their mother Jolene Burns; sister Anne Herod and husband Mark; brothers, Tim, Tommy and wife Sue, T.J. and wife Amy; 11 nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc, Houston, TX 77024, on Wednesday, June 19 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory to St. Thomas High School - Learning Enrichment Center, 4500 Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77007.
