Robert Wells Obituary

Robert "Bob" A. Wells, age 85, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 27, 2018.

He was born on November 26, 1933, to the late Donald H. and Althea (Smith) Wells in Reynoldsville, PA. He graduated from the Reynoldsville High School. He then attended Williamsport Technical College. On June 19, 1954, he married Carol (Johnson) Wells in DuBois, PA, she survives.

Bob was a truck driver for Delaney Brothers and Montgomery Ward. Beginning in 1980, Bob began working with his wife at their family business, Carols Cake and Candy Supplies.

He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Reynoldsville and enjoyed attending the Men's Bible Class. He was a founding member of the Fishers of Men Area Prayer Breakfast. Bob previously was also a volunteer for the Reynoldsville Ambulance Service. He loved to help others and was a friend to many.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Bob was always willing to take on any project setting an example for his children. Above all, Bob was devoted to his wife, children, his church, and his friends.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by three children: Robin C. (Dave) Dressler, Robert A. (Sue Ellen) Wells, and David C. (Donna) Wells; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Donald Wells.

We invite you to join us for the celebration of Bob's Life taking place on Saturday, January 5, 2019, beginning at 2:00 p.m. and officiated by Reverend Thomas Carr, at the First United Methodist Church, 504 Jackson St, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
