Edward "Ted" Fagan

1959 - 2021

Edward "Ted" Fagan, of Stafford Springs, died April 4, 2021.

Born July 8, 1959, to Nancy (Gordon) Fagan and Edward F. Fagan, Ted was the eldest of five children and graduate of the class of '77 of Somers High School, Somers, and Eastern Connecticut State University. Ted was a wonderful son, brother and cousin - and a beloved uncle to his lucky nieces and nephews. An avid outdoorsman, Ted will also be missed by close friends from throughout his life including members of his much-loved mountain biking community. He became a friend to many while clearing mountain bike and hiking paths and leading group rides throughout Northern Connecticut and Massachusetts. A lover of live music, voracious reader, fierce whiffle ball competitor and a loyal and loving family member and friend, Ted will be most remembered for his generous and gentle spirit.

Ted was predeceased by his parents; and is survived by his siblings, Kathryn Fagan and her husband, Martin Bauer of Milton, Massachusetts; Mary Fagan of Scituate, Massachusetts; Chris Fagan and his wife, Suzanne Shaw of Cambridge, Massachusetts; and Tricia Griffiths and her husband, Bill Griffiths of Scituate; and by his adoring nieces and nephews, Brian, Cullen, Owen, Molly, Will, Janie and Gracie.

A memorial service and bike ride to celebrate Ted's life is being planned for early Summer 2021.
