Father Quintin, you were a great friend with such a compassionate heart and loving spirit. I am honored to call you my friend and I hope you have been able to find peace. It appears you kept right on giving of yourself in your priestly ministry. My prayers are for the repose of your soul and your family and friends in this difficult time, especially your fellow "brothers" from St. Lawrence. May the angels lead you into Paradise. Father Heck officiated at our wedding September 21, 2001 in Fargo, ND. Just yesterday we were reminiscing with friends about our marriage preparation and mentioned how much we had enjoyed working with Father Heck. We will always remember him as a kind and compassionate man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Father Quintin was so kind to my father, and our family, when he was sick and dying of cancer. It meant so much to my dad to have him come to the home and administer the sacraments so he could join the Catholic faith after all the years of going to Mass. God bless you, Father Quintin.

It was a blessing in our family's life to meet Father Quintin Heck. I will never forget his empathy and kindness to us during my brother's passing when he was an associate pastor at St. Dominic's parish. He welcomed and supported us during our time of loss to plan my brother's funeral at St. Dominics. I want his family to know that he was a blessing in so many of our lives as he was in their lives. Father Quintin guided us with his homilies, supported us with his gentle strength, and he had a smile that welcomed all who met him. May he now have the blessing of peace which he offered to all of us during his time as a priest. He will always be lovingly remembered by our family.
