Sincere condolences to Liz and her extended family in the loss of their beloved David.

As an old friend from the past, I'll share a fond memory from the 1960's ~ of "Dave" and my husband Charles working in our garage "fine tuning" their race car before heading to the Clay City Drag Strip. As the driver, Dave loved the thrill of it all - waiting for the "green go light" and crossing the finish line. Win or lose, Dave's eyes sparkled with excitement after each race. He immediately analyzed the reasons for the win or the loss and as we drove home to Winchester afterwards, Dave was making plans for the next race.

Rest in Peace old friend. I'm sure you were smiling and your eyes sparkled with excitement as you crossed the finish line into Heaven.
