Virginia Rule Obituary

RULE, VIRGINIA WILLIAMS - age 89 of West Knoxville, died Wednesday May 17, 2006. She was a member of St John's Episcopal Cathedral and had retired as a nurse from Lakeshore Hospital. Virginia was a golden grad at the University of Tennessee where she was a member of Chi Omega Fraternity. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Perrin Rule Sr.; and a son, Robert Perrin Rule Jr. Virginia is survived by: daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Jerry Hodge of Knoxville and Griffin, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, David and Kay Rule of Greensboro, North Carolina; grandchildren, Russell Hodge, Allen Hodge, Carter Rule Grimes and husband Morgan, Laura Clark and husband Larry; and 3 great grandchildren, Abigail Hodge, Isaac Hodge and Ava Grimes. Family and friends will meet Thursday at the main entrance to Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 3:30 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Darrell Hodge and Rev. Rocky Hodge officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Children's Hospital Development P.O. Box 15010 Knoxville, TN 37901-5010, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1905. Arrangements by Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel. www.rosemortuary.com.
