My beautiful childhood lifelong buddy. I am just taking a day at a time because I can't imagine life without you. You will reside in my heart forever and I miss you beyond words. You may be the most empathic and loving person with the heart that could hold the valley of Ellensburg and beyond. I have so many fun facetious memories of us that will always put a smile on my face and laughter in my heart. I know you are uniting with your family and heaven will be a better place because of you.

So many cherished memories come to mind when I think of Doris with so much laughter and fun. Even in times of sadness and tears Doris could make us laugh. One of my favorite memories is when Doris was talking about her siblings, she would say Tom, Becky, Earl...but when she talked about Bob she always said, "my brother Bob Morgan". She had no idea why which made it even funnier! I swear you could literally see that light spark in her eyes when she smiled. Her impact on so many people is obvious. To say she will be missed is a true understatement. My sincerest condolences to her family.

Years ago I saw Doris and she asked me what I was doing. I told her I volunteered for the Battered Women's Shelter and worked at the Women's Center at Central. After we had a drink together and a delightful conversation she asked me what the shelter needed. I told her we were good but did not have a vacuum. She got out her checkbook and wrote a check to Comprehensive Mental Health for a vacuum!!!! I felt grateful and never forgot her kindness. Love and heartfelt thoughts to her family...

To Doris' family, my heartfelt sympathies. Dorie was one of a kind ~ a great big heart and a warm and gentle soul. Though I knew her for many years, I didn't see her much of late and I am so very sorry that she is gone. May she truly rest in peace and may her memory give you strength in this difficult time. I know she will long be missed.

Doris, you always made me laugh. Back nearly 50 years ago when you stuck your head out the car window to dry your hair and almost clipped a mailbox And when you asked your sister Becky, "your mom or mine?" We laughed so much. We had a lot of good times. You accomplished a lot in your too short life. Many people will always remember your smile, your laugh and your big heart ❤. RIP Doris. Love to your family and sincere condolences for their loss.

Doris was indeed a beloved woman to all who knew her. She was one of the kindest, most authentic people I know--a truly beautiful woman, on the inside and out. She graciously greeted friends, acquaintances and strangers alike, with her big smile and a kind word. She loved all animals and rescued many over the years in need of a home and love. Any time I saw Doris, she brought me joy and my day grew brighter. I will miss you sweet lady! I pray for strength and peace for her family and many friends who will deeply miss the love, light and energy this vibrant woman brought to their lives.

Oh Doris, where do I begin? I can still see you and Earl standing outside the "Big" pool at the Memorial Park. I went over and we talked and played until my Mom would stand out in the middle of the street and hollar for my siblings and I to come home to eat dinner. That is one of many fond memories that I have of you. Rest in Peace Doris.
