Sally Hartman Obituary

79. Our Beloved Sally passed away peacefully on October 8th surrounded by her family. She was born on January 18, 1934 and was raised in Ventura, California. She attended Ventura High School, Ventura College and San Jose State College. She married the first and only love of her life, Walter "Bud" Hartman on October 30, 1954. Their relationship was the greatest of love stories. She was a devoted wife and mother to seven children. She embraced adventure and encouraged her children and grandchildren to pursue their passions. She decorated with gusto for every holiday and planned magical celebrations that filled our lives with wonder. Sally's main focus always remained with her husband, children and grandchildren; she was the rock that remained steady and supportive for all of them. Her upbeat and unwavering tenacity will be profoundly missed. Her vivacious spirit will live on in all who had the pleasure of celebrating life with her. She was predeceased by her daughter Eileen, her son David, and her father Arnold Weidenfeller. She is survived by her mother Esther Gann, her husband Bud Hartman, her daughters Theresa Ryan, Debbie Duggan, Patricia Cortina and Julie Monro and her son Glenn Hartman, 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A celebration of Sally's wonderful life will be held on Saturday, October 12, between 11am and 2pm at Spanish Hills Country Club in Camarillo, California. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to cureanca.com, the Anca Associated Vasculitis Foundation.

To Bud and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Sally's passing. I know what it is like to lose a Mother, a Matriarch, the reason for every season ... None will ever be the same again... I pray for the strength of your family at this very difficult time. Despite our differences I loved Sally as did my son, we are heartbroken but know that Our Wonderful David was there to guide her home. Love, Prayers and Deep Compassion - Cindy Hartman and Dane

The Hartman family,

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the moments forever.

It was an honor and a privilege to arrange the many trips for the Hartman family over the years, from Sydney to Dubai, Sally had a sense of adventure that lives on in all of you.

It was, and is a pleasure to continue building your family memories.

God Bless,

With sympathy in your time of loss. Sally was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. From a headstone in Ireland: " Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal." God bless your family.
