David Bellan

Waltham – Mr. David Bellan, of Waltham, died Sunday, December 12, 2010 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. He was 53. David was born in Waltham on May 2, 1957, a son of the late John and Theresa (Rehill) Bellan and had been a lifelong resident. A self-employed painter, he was an avid fisherman who loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He leaves his sisters and brothers, Judith Gustafson of Illinois, Michael Bellan, Joanne Wilson, both of Milford, Christine Provencher of Waltham, Donald Bellan of Jamaica Plain, Wayne Bellan of Hollis, New Hampshire, Deborah Sama of Waltham and Rocksine Gorman of Shrewsbury and many nieces and nephews. David was also a brother of the late John R. Bellan and a step-son of the late Martha (Knowles) Bellan. Family and friends will honor and remember David’s life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 11 a.m. on Wednesday morning when his funeral service will be held. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
