Frances TALLEY Obituary
Blankenship, 88, of Richmond, passed away September 19, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rachel Blankenship; her husband of 53 years, John Edwin Talley; a sister, Edna Hutchins; and brother, Richard Blankenship. She is survived by two sons, Donald Talley and wife, Leslie, and Michael Talley and wife, Diane; two grandchildren, Allison Martin and husband, Hebron, and Kyle Talley; and two great-grandchildren, Keegan Martin and Rory Martin. Frances was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. She worked for LaVogue Women's Clothing Store for many years and also at Lloyd's Hallmark. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Bliley's - Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011, at Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs.Talley was a customer of mine for many years.She was a fine classy lady and enjoyed doing her hair.I remember ''no spray''. I know she will be missed greatly.I enjoyed talking to her so much.My grandaughter is named Alison because I loved the name when she spoke of her and convinced my daughter-in-law that was just the right name.Also my mother's was Martin.Be blessed.Audrey Weeks
