Aunt Connie....I'm so deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved husband. I know that I only met him once but he truly made himself a spot in my heart, as did you. I think about you often and I was just speaking of you today. Then I read on fb of Georges pasaing. I feel incredibly saddened that I was not able to spend more time with him. I regret it.
Connie, I know that I seem to be just a distant relative, but please know that in my heart you have a special place and if there's anything that I can do for you please don't hesitate to ask. I'll be attending the service for George as well.
I love you,
Nikki

George, I will never forget you. Calling for your daughter...BEH-Ath..BEH-Ath when I phoned your home. You giving up a treasured quart of green beans to me for my mom when you found out how much she loves them...just being a great guy, father, husband. Love and best wishes for peace and good memories to the Bostic clan.

Among the craziness that was the fledgling Asheville renaissance on Biltmore Avenue in the 80's; George was an island of calm, humored determination. With a smile, a tilt of his head, a rise in his brow and a spread of his hands; he would make any problem seem small. He was a jewel of a man. He was loved.

George's delightfully dry sense of humor will be so missed. But his compassion for others and his endless love and patience for the artistic and free spirited side of his family will always stand as a testament to me as to what a real humanitarian should be. Time to let your free spirit soar now, George. We love you, into the abyss and beyond.

Connie and family,
I am thankful for the memories shared (way to many to list) growing up knowing the Bostic family.
George was a great man. He will always be remember by me as a person that was always calm regardless of what was going on, never getting upset at any of the many children that hung out at your house.
