ADOLF, Gerald "Jerry," 62, of Richmond, passed away December 1, 2012 at his home in Beaverdam after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kurt and Jean Adolf. He is survived by his wife, Linda Adolf; daughter, Amy Garelick and her husband, Kenny; two grandsons, Colin and Ryan; daughter, Shelley Adolf; son, Kevin Adolf; and brother, Ronnie Adolf and his wife, Susan. Jerry graduated from John Randolph Tucker High School and after attending VCU went into the car business. He served on the Board of the Virginia Independent Automobile Dealers Association for many years. He had a passion for auto racing and spent many years as a pit crew member for Junie Dunleavy Racing. Private services will be held. His family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations are sent to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central Virginia Chapter, 4200 Innslake Drive, Suite 301, Glen Allen, Va. 23060.

Jerry I will always remember more than fifty years of friendship, our summers at Virginia Beach with the gang, your constant smile and never ending humor. We had so much fun together and
remained friends through thick and thin.

One thing I remember about Jerry is that big smile! I always loved going by his car lot and checking out all the cars I couldn't afford, but Jerry would still shoot the bull with you! My thoughts and prayers go out to the Adolf Family. Kindest Regards, Bob Richmon
