Edward Burgoyne Obituary

LOWELL -- Edward A. Burgoyne, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, Nov. 29, at his home. He was 53.

He was born in Lowell, Feb. 5, 1953, son of the late Edward and Mary (Masterson) Burgoyne. He graduated from the Sacred Heart Grammar School and Lowell High School.

For many years, Mr. Burgoyne was employed by a local manufacturing company.

Mr. Burgoyne was a parishioner of the former Sacred Heart Church.

He is remembered by family members as a private person who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a fan of all of the Boston sports teams.

He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Harriet and David Heeley of Lowell; two brothers, Gene Burgoyne, residing in Ohio, and Kevin Burgoyne and his companion, Jo Ann Brennan, residing in Maine; two nephews, William Burgoyne, residing in Maine, and David Heeley Jr. of Haverhill; a niece, Lauren Ann Heeley of Lowell; and several cousins.

To the Burgoyne family and friends,my prayers and thoughts are with you all on this sad day. I shall long remember the happy times that I shared with Ed and his family in the early 70's. Ed will be missed, by all of the people he touched during his life time. Love and Friendships last forever.
