Robert E. Reinert

Robert E. Reinert, 89, a lifelong resident of Fullerton, passed away on March 23rd, 2021 at LV Hospice. He was the husband of the late Shirley M. (Berger) Reinert. Prior to her death, they were married 64 years. He was the son of the late Nita W. (Ritter) and Truman C. Reinert. Bob was a 1949 graduate of Whitehall Hall School and a graduate of the GM Institute in Flint, Michigan. He was an employee of Ruhe Motor Corp in Allentown from the age of 14 until Ruhe's closed in 2008, where he ended his career as the Service Director. Survivors: Bob will be lovingly missed and remembered by his family. He is survived by his daughters: Brenda wife of the late Larry N. Merkle, Patti A. wife of Robert D. Blose, Tracy L. wife of Robert A. Greaser and son Douglas R. Greaser; dog Willy. Grandchildren: Megan, Julie, Alexandra, Morgan, Tyler, and Korbin. Great Grandchildren: Kai, Stella, Sawyer, and Ryland. Bob was a long term member of the Oldsmobile Club of America. He enjoyed owning, showing, and participating in numerous classic car shows. He was a long time collector of Oldsmobile memorabilia. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his cottage along the Delaware river. He never met a Daschund he didn't love. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31st, 2021 at Laurel Cemetery, Kimmett Avenue, Whitehall, PA 18052 by the Reverend Martha S. Sipe.
