Eloise Hunter

Eloise M. Hunter, age 96, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Minister Barry Gilreath III officiating. Entombment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. A native of Tennessee, Eloise moved to East Point, GA in 1950, then to Powder Springs, GA in 1997. She was a Bible scholar, and enjoyed teaching women's Bible studies. Eloise also enjoyed doing arts and crafts, and was a member of Macland Road Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Biggs Hunter, in 2011. She is survived by: 3 Children, Sheila Joan (Steve) Hicks, Lincoln, AL, Lawrence "Larry" Edward (Lisa) Hunter, Douglasville, GA, and Tina "Kathy" (Bruce) Wetts, Torrance, CA; 2 Sisters, Marge Walker, Hemet, CA, and Alene Carpenter, Belton, SC; Brother, Charles "Clem" McDearman, Nashville, TN; 7 Grandchildren, Heather Curry, Nathan Hicks, Michael Hunter, Christian Hunter, Conrad Hunter, Kristen Armes, and Shaylyn Rupard; 4 Great Grandchildren, Parker Curry, Brayden Curry, Hunter Hicks, and Graham Hicks.
