Sue was one of the most beautiful girls in high school and a lot of times I would give her a ride home when her Mother was delayed in picking her up. She was always very grateful. I am recovering from Valley Fever and unable to travel alone but wish the best to all the Family.

I only had the pleasure of being with Sue a handful of times during the last forty years, and I know I thanked her for lunch, but I never thanked her for how her family has impacted my life over the years. My experience as a fellow artist was greatly enhanced due to the influence of my trips to the coast and my close association with Carmel and her family. So, "Thank you Sue, for that first memorable lunch at the Beach Club and for your daughter and granddaughter, who are now and will always be part of my family. Also, your donation of the art books that you spent a lifetime collecting will be used in an art school library in Ohio. Many, many thanks to you again for this generous gift and we display several of your paintings with pride."

Sue was as solid a Christian as anyone that I have ever known. She instilled this in her daughter JoJo , the love of my life, who has helped me to come closer to the Lord as well. Sue was always able to give us a logical answer to any of our unsolvable questions of just about any subject. She will be greatly missed in our family, but we know that we will see her again.

As her former brother-in-law, I knew Sue as a woman with a kind heart and a generous spirit. These are qualities that God loves so we know that Sue will be with Him to eternity. Good bye and God speed to a wonderful person. We will miss you.

Flicka was a wonderful grandmother and she will be sincerely missed. The memories that she left me with are simply priceless and I will always treasure them. One of my fondest memories of Flicka was when we would visit her in Carmel, she would always have 4 foods she knew I loved: english muffins, grapefruit, raspberries, and BonBons. We would eat at the table with the gorgeous ocean view. Another favorite memory is when she came into town to visit for Thanksgiving one year, and that is the time we went to pick out a kitten at an animal shelter. We took home "Ms. White" who became Smokey.
My only wish is that she had known that she was going to be a great-grandmother, but I'm sure the Lord has shared that little secret with her now. I am thankful to have had Flicka as a grandmother and I'm so very blessed for her gift to me: my mom. While she will be missed here on earth, I know we will see each other again in heaven and that's a great source of comfort.

I will always consider Suzi as my "Spiritual Mother" since it was through her example and leading that her daughter, Jo Jo, became a Christian and by that same example, leading and encouragement, Jo Jo helped me in discovering Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Suzi liked to say that if she had to choose the most miraculous example of the supernatural power of God and the Holy Spirit, it would be that Dana Reade has become a Christian.
Suzi will be remembered for her grace, faith and her incredible sense of humor. I can't wait to spend eternity with her!

There aren't enough words or space for me to express my love for my mother. I am so unbelievably grateful that she shared with me the greatest gift of all - the knowledge that Jesus Christ died for me and that I can know him on a very personal level as my Lord and Savior. The sadness and heartbreak of being with her as she drew her last breath was so tremendously overshadowed by the reality that I could say with 100 percent assurance, "See you later, Mommy"! I will miss her presence in my life and her wonderful sense of humor, but I know exactly where she is and as she enjoys the fellowship of the intellectual giants of the Christian faith, I imagine her saying, "Paul, read your books - loved them!"

We so appreciated Sue's sweet disposition and her warm greetings and smiles. The fruits of the Spirit were evident in the grace that her life exhibited. We thank God for the testimony of Jesus in her life and that she is now resting in Him and enjoying His preseence for eternity.

I am so grateful for the years that Alex and Sue participated with us at Peninsula Bible Fellowship in Monterey. We were a start-up church and Sue was full of gracious encouragement. Sue had a genuine love for Jesus Christ and His Word, the Bible, and she had a deep desire for all to come to know the love and peace that she knew in knowing Christ. How great to know with confidence that Sue is now at Home with her Savior. We will miss her.
