William Petrick Obituary
AGE: 90 • Toms River
William R. Petrick, 90, of Toms River passed away August 13, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 3, 1927. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1949 and was a Phi Beta Kappa. He received his master's degree from Xavier University in 1975. William served in the U. S. Navy during WWII.
William retired from Frigidaire, a division of Electrolux, after 45 years as Director of Engineering. During which time he traveled all over the world. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, St. Justin's Senior Club, and the Green Island Association. He enjoyed his family, fishing, boating, bowling, and get-togethers.
William is predeceased by his parents Primos and Hannah, and his daughter Terry. Surviving are his beloved wife of 66 years Toni; a daughter Linda Cozad and her husband Keith; a son William Petrick Jr. and his Wife Tanja; four grandchildren David, Michael, Stephanie and Primo; a great-grandchild Deja.
Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Rd. Toms River. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 9:30am at St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Knights of Columbus for God's Special People or St. Jude's Children Hospital. www.silvertonmemorial.com.

My condolences to Toni, Billy, and family. My dad, George Elwood, and Bill were fraternity brothers at Rutgers. I will never forget the wonderful memories from when our families got together for tailgating and football games! The Petricks, Booths, Johnsons, and Elwoods!

Very sorry to hear about the passing of my friend William(Bill)Patrick, was one of the first male co-workers I met in the 70's when it was Westinghouse, always a gentleman and would give you the shirt off his back. I always thought about him and he will surly be missed. Family you are in my prayers. A WCI family member.
