Alexander Kent Mastro, 27, of Denver, passed away on January 27, 2026. He was born on April 1, 1998, in Denver, Colorado.
Alexander was known for his kind heart, humor and creativity. He brought joy to those around him through his warmth, generosity, and unwavering loyalty to the people he loved. Those who knew him will remember his smile, laugh, sense of humor, and passion for life.
He had a deep love for family, friends, music, skateboarding, and art. Alexander valued meaningful connections and made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Laura Mastro; his siblings, Eddie, Evan, and Aunna; Aunna’s fiancé, DJ; his grandfather, Dr. Edward R. Mastro; his grandmother, Carol L. Slade; his aunt Mary McAtee; his cousins, Kevin, Colin, and Katherine McAtee; his uncle John Dooley and aunt Anne Dooley; his cousins, Kathleen Dooley, Joe Dooley, and Bridget Shaskan, her husband Atticus, and their son, Arthur; his uncle Randy Howard and aunt Kim Howard and their son, Taylor; and his aunt Mary Beth Howard and cousins Heather and Rachel Howard. He was preceded in death and welcomed into heaven by his beloved grandmother, Mary Sue Mastro, and his uncles Mark McAtee, David Trippett, and Scott Howard.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, followed immediately by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO.
Memorial donations in Alexander’s name may be made to a charity of your choice, honoring his memory.
