Andrea and I had a lot of fun times in the late 80's skiing in Aspen, up in Vermont with her brother Tom some weekends, golfing with the Emhart Corp ladies golf league. We stayed in touch through when she moved to NY, got married and had her first son. Then life got busier for both of us as it does, and we lost touch with each other. After awhile, I lost my old address book. I tried a couple of times to locate her online and was not successful. Facebook was not available and the internet search engines weren't what they are today. Then recently I started to digitize my old photo albums with my iphone and it made me think more of Andrea. This week I searched again online and was devastated to see Andrea's obituary. Don't ever hesitate to reach out to loved ones and those you have lost touch with. Rest in peace Andrea. It comforts me to see you had a full and active life with 2 great sons and husband living on the beautiful coast of Niantic.

I graduated with Andrea in 1973. Little did I know that 6 years from then, I would marry her cousin, Jon and become part of the Steucek clan. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of her death. May you rest in peace, Andrea.

There's a song by the choral group RENT called SEASONS OF LOVE that asks how do you measure a year in the life of a woman or a man? An engineer or actuary may give a technical answer like a year is 525,600 minutes. But Andrea's last year can measured in love. She spent it with the family and friends that she loved. She spent it traveling and biking and golfing doing the things she loved. Maybe that last year was more intense than some people spend 10 years and that's what really matters.

Ray and sons, You were so fortunate to have Andrea as wife and mother. Her loving care, exuberant personality, and gracious lady endeared herself to everyone she came in contact with. I especially enjoyed our chats over dinner at any of the restaurants we went to. I will greatly miss her wonderful smile and and our time together. .. God Bless you all. Rita Ravosa
