Andrew Charles Kessler Sr.

Andrew Charles Kessler Sr. of Kenner, Louisiana, was called to his heavenly home at the age of 100 in Jefferson, Louisiana, on March 23, 2018. He was born January 30, 1918, in New Orleans to Andrew J. Kessler and Rosetta Barraco Kessler. Mr. Kessler was a machinist and owned Delta Machine and Manufacturing in New Orleans. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of New Orleans Consistory and a Shriner for over 70 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 69 years, Elsie Reisig Kessler; sisters, Myrtle Bagnetto (the late Bill) and Evelyn Palumbo (the late Joseph); brother, Robert Kessler (the late Ethel Mae). He is survived by his daughters Janis Kessler Filiberto (husband Tony) and Evelyn Kessler Besse (husband Paul); and his sons Andrew Charles Kessler Jr. (wife Debbie), and Kerry John Kessler (wife Tami). He is also survived by his grandchildren Ashley, Jayme, Paul, Michael, Bryan, Andrew III, Dedica, Dale, Kirk and Kyle; and his great-grandchildren Sydney, Shay, Tony, Andrew IV, Dylan, Grace, Simon, Sophie, Isaac, Coralyn, Madison, Gillian, Jake, Lucas, Lexie, Alexander, Bryson. The family attended a private service on Thursday, March 29, 2018, with interment following at Hope Mausoleum.
