My memories of Ann and her wonderful family are as fresh as they were when we were classmates at East Nicolaus High School. She conducted herself with charm, dignity, and also possessed a wonderful sense of deep compassion for others. Ann never one who thought that she was a step above anyone. That sense of humility and grace is what stands out most to this day. She is missed!

Ann Getty was an extraordinary woman and a blessing to her family and friends. Ever seeking and active, she was not satisfied with the status quo, but, like her very active husband, the talented Gordon Getty, developed her own talents and skills.
