My deepest sympathies to the entire Trufant family. Mrs. Trufant was a constant source of encouragement and enthusiasm and a wonderful role model. You are most certainly in our thoughts in this difficult time.

Dave,
Joan and I were saddened by the by the news of your Mother's passing. Although we did not know her, she appeared to be a charming person; please accept our heartfelt sympathies. You may or may not remember us, but we were neighbors back on East State Street while attending college at LSU during that period of our lives. You left us with quite a few memories in a very short time; I can only imagine the memories you Mom must have left in her 94 years, may she rest in peace.
