Anne Dudley Isley, 88, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on July 2, 2018.
Mrs. Isley grew up in near Benson, and graduated from Meadow High School, then graduated three years later from North Carolina Baptist Hospital in 1950 as a registered nurse. After her marriage, she resided in Norfolk, Va. most of her life. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Gartha and Allean M. Dudley of Benson; brother, Philip M. Dudley; and husband, Bernard Gale Isley.
Survivors include her sister, Kathryn Dudley Weeks of Clinton; four children, Beth Isley, Gary Isley and wife Gabi, Melissa Gale Isley, and Missy Isley Viohl and husband Kenny; eight grandchildren, Benjamin, Shayna, Sallie, Ali, Katie, Kevin, Jason, Barney; and several great-granchildren.
A celebration of life was held Thursday, July 5, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home. Interment followed at Rosewood Memorial Park. A reception followed for everyone in the Fellowship Hall.
