Rev. Arnold E. Perham, CSV

Rev. Arnold E. Perham, CSV, priest of the Viatorian Community, died on June 21 at the age of 95. He was the son of Walter and Marie Perham. His brother James and his sister Bernadette preceded him in death. His sister, Faustine, survives him. He first pronounced vows as a Cleric of St. Viator in 1948 and was ordained a priest in 1956. He held a BA degree from Loyola University of Chicago and MA degrees from Catholic University of America and the University of Notre Dame. He taught at Cathedral Boys High School in Springfield, IL during the years 1951-52 and 1956-62. From 1962 to 1968 he taught at St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights, IL. For the years 1968-73 he taught at Loyola University Chicago. In 1973 he returned to teaching at St. Viator High School where he continued helping long after retirement.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 25 at 9:30 AM in the chapel of the Viatorian Province Center, 1212 E. Euclid. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. For further information, please call 847 637-2125.
