Ava Evans Obituary
She was born January 20, 2009 in DuBois, the daughter of Robert W. and Maribeth "Beth" (Shaffer) Evans.
Ava was a 7th grade student at Clearfield Area Junior Senior High School where she also participated in Volleyball. She loved her friends and they loved her.
Ava is survived by her parents of Clearfield, her three siblings; Allison Lohman of Houston, TX, Max Lohman and Madison Evans both of Clearfield, paternal grandparents; Larry W. Evans of Lumber City and Rose Evans of Orlando, FL, three aunts and two uncles; Jodi Jeffries (Robert), Wendi Rebuck (James), David Evans (Diane), Steven Taylor (Cindy) and Mindy Shaffer (Daniel), numerous cousins, her beloved bulldogs; Rocko and Lucy and her cat Rody Jo.
She was preceded in death and will be welcomed with open arms by her maternal grandparents; Anita and Samuel Shaffer and her uncle, Edwin Shaffer. She is probably also hoping to see Betty White, as she was an avid fan of the Golden Girls.
Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Roger McGary officiating. Interment will be in Eden Cemetery. Friends will be received on Sunday from 11:00 AM until the hour of services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Clearfield County SPCA, 275 21st Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.

Ava was a very respectable young lady and always said "Hi" to me in the halls when she was at CAES. I'm a custodian and her and her family are in my heart.
