What a lovely lady. I am devestated at your passing. I will sorely miss our long distance "Barb to Barb" phone conversations. Was looking forward to our get together in May. So long, my dear, beloved friend.

To the Leininger family: It was a pleasure caring for Barb as her social worker when she was in Assisted Living at Lutheran Life Villages. I especially enjoyed talking to her about her career as I was completing my master's degree from the University of Saint Francis and was interning at Allen County Juvenile Center. She was a a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. We will all miss her greatly.
Sincerely,
Eva M.Teeters

I met Barb when I was an intern at the south probation office way back in 1988! She and I really hit it off, despite our age difference. She always reminded me of my grandma! I was able to stay in touch with Barb for a few years after she retired and I was hired on at juvenile Probation. After I resigned to stay home with the kids, she invited my small children in to her home for lunch on a couple of occasions! As my young family grew I lost track of Barb but thought of her often! I will always remember her fondly.
