June Mann Bare June Mann Bare, 74, of Charlottesville, died Monday, December 30, 2013, at Martha Jefferson Hospital. Born November 29, 1939, in Burlington, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Horace Edward and Estelle Dark Mann. She was a graduate of University of North Carolina, Greensboro where she received a degree in Education. June was a retired teacher with the Charlottesville School System. She was a devoted bridge player and had directed local bridge games for over twenty years. In addition, she had achieved the rank of Silver Life Master with the ACBL. She enjoyed spending time doting over her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Curtis V. Bare; one daughter, Jill Suzanne Nikhazy and her husband, Brad of Ocoee, Florida; one sister, Betty Coble of Burlington, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Amanda, Doug and T.J. Nikhazy. A memorial gathering will be held from 2 until 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at the Teague Funeral Home. Friends may sign the guest register at teaguefuneralhome.com
