Beverly Clagg Obituary

Beverly Ann Clagg, 73, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday morning, July 30, 2025, following a brief struggle with cancer.

She was born March 3, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Harry and Mardell Chmielewski.

She married her husband of 52 years, Robert Aaron Clagg, in June 1973 while attending Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Beyond being a wife and mother, Beverly enjoyed a long career as a marriage and family therapist. After retiring, she became a canine agility enthusiast with a wide range of dear friends from that activity.

Survivors include her husband, two children, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three brothers.

A funeral Mass is at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Boston, Kentucky.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and will be followed by praying the Holy Rosary.
