Brady John Tewes, the son of John and Laurie (Birchard) Tewes was born January 6, 1989 in Sioux City, IA. His childhood years were spent in the Sioux Rapids, IA area, where he attended school and graduated from Sioux Central High School.
Brady worked as a telemarketer in Storm Lake, IA, Shine Bro. Corps in Spencer, IA and most recently, Mill Creek Machining in Spencer, IA. Brady married Kayla Bredehoeft in Ruthven, IA on September 15, 2018.
Brady enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming, ATV’ing, riding his motorcycle, his dogs, Bubba and Remi, going to concerts and comedy shows. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Iowa State Cyclones. He especially enjoyed spending time with friends and his adventures with his wife, Kayla. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh.
Brady passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD, at the age of 35. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Tyler, paternal grandparents, Delmar and Ruth Tewes, maternal grandparents, Bill and Gretchen Birchard, one uncle, Carl Birchard, 2 aunts, Linda Hersom and Mary Schuknecht, friends, Ashley King and Colby Anderson, and his dog Abby.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Kayla of Spencer, IA; parents, John and Laurie Tewes of Sioux Rapids, IA; one brother, Jordan (Brooke) Tewes of Rembrandt, IA; father and mother-in-law, Delray and Janelle Bredehoeft or Ruthven, IA; brother-in-law, Todd (Jean) Bredehoeft; niece, Mercedes (Jon) Hegel, their children, Reghan and Jameson; nephew, Dalton and Carly Bredehoeft, their children, Wesley and Willow; numerous aunts; uncles; other relatives; and many many friends.
