Brian Bruce Carter, 56, passed away on September 12, 2017 at Transitions Life Care, Raleigh following complications from Alzheimer's. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Vivian I. Carter. He is survived by his father, Thomas A. Carter and sisters, Jennifer Credle and Jocelyn Pease.
Brian was born on July 12, 1961 in Lancaster, PA. He was born with Down's Syndrome and lived a happy life enjoying his relationships with family, caretakers, and work supervisors. Thanks to all of Brian's friends, caretakers, and staff at Transitions Life Care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the NC Chapter of Alzheimer's Association.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 2 p.m., Apex Funeral Home, 550 w. Williams St., Apex. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.ApexFuneral.net
