Carl A. Schulien

Carl A. Schulien, 90, of Arlington Heights, passed away peacefully on August 2nd, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Carl was born on September 28th, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, to Charles A. Schulien and Isabel Weber.

Carl was a retired Arlington Heights Fireman with 32 years of experience. He served for 4 years in the Naval Air Service with Honorable Discharge.

In 1955, Carl married the love of his life, Audrey. They shared 70 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised seven children, Michael J. Schulien (late Therese), Chuck A. Schulien (Jane), Jeanine M. Dellinger, Cathy A. Carwyle (Tony), Kim T. Austin (Billy), David E. Schulien (Diane), Richard T. Schulien (Jennifer).

Nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. Schulien and Isabel Weber; and granddaughter, Sarah.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, from 4pm-8pm at Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights, IL. 60004.
