News Death Notice

SLUSSER, Carl Duane age 65, of Franklin, died Tuesday January 21, 2014 at Hospice of Butler-Warren County . He was born in Middletown June 1, 1948 to Carl and Myrtle (Hanes) Slusser. Carl served in the Army during Vietnam War. He was employed with Atlas Roofing in Franklin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry, his father, Carl Slusser Jr., mother, Myrtle Wallace and stepfather, Elbert (Bud) Wallace. Carl is survived by his wife, Penny, a son - Steven (Nikki) Slusser; 2 daughters, Stacie (Jimmy) Riley, Stephanie (Charlie) Meadows and 5 grandchildren, Katelynn, Wyatt, Dylan, Peyton and Kelsey. He also leaves 3 sisters, Donna Grau, Carol Burns and Leda Deaton. Funeral services will be 5:00 pm Saturday January 25, 2014 at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd. St. Franklin. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Please visit www.anderson-fh.com to send an online condolence.
