My sympathies to all of you. I was stunned to discover Carol's passing while perusing the Times Obits. I was a highschool classmate of both of you, graduating Lawrence HS in 1955. Carol and I would spend hours in the art room, and I taught art on every level for 55 years. I have fond memories of Mr. Uhlar's "culture" club to which we all belonged. I have a PH.D from NYU, and currently live in CT, a widow for 4 years.; a married daughter lives in NC. I also remember when Carol linked up with you,she said that all your Mahler records were different; no overlap. Delighted to know your marriage lasted, and that you have a family to comfort you at this difficult time. With all my love and sympathy for your loss. Judy Novack Rankell.
