Fresno, California - Carole Lee Carruthers (née Robinson), 90, of Fresno, CA, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025. Born June 16, 1935, in Washburn, IL, she is survived by daughters Diane Montgomery, Karen Montgomery, and Gina Wilson (Perry); grandchildren Donald Adkins, Jessica Lopes (Sean), and Melanie Gould; and great-grandchildren Bostyn Adkins, Layla Lopes, and Landon Lopes. A memorial service will be held August 22 at 11 a.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Hinds Hospice in her memory.
