Dear Carroll Seawell Family,
Mr. Seawell was always professional and very kind to me; always friendly and helpful in planning any event in which I needed guidance as to what food to serve and how to serve it, whether it was 40 or 10 years ago. Mr. Seawell was fun and he and his wife enjoyed teaching and coordinating their catering recommendations with me.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Mr. Seawell was a special man. He was a true family man and was the hardest working person I have ever met. He instilled in his family the incredible work ethic that he possessed, but beyond that he taught them the importance of family first. He has left behind a wonderful legacy of perseverance and community service that is being carried on by Mrs. Seawell and his sons. The State of South Carolina, and the City of Columbia, will miss him dearly, but we are comforted in knowing that he did so much for so many, and is now receiving his well-earned place with our Lord and Savior. Our deepest condolences to the Seawell Family. God Bless each of you.
