Family-Placed Death Notice

EVANS, Christopher Mr. Christopher James Evans, age 55, of McDonough, GA passed away May 4, 2008. Mr. Evans was born in Johnson City, NY the son of the late Beverley Earle Evans and Isabella Mary Hahn. He served his country in the US Navy and he was a member of Glen Haven Baptist Church. Mr. Evans was employed by Cameron & Barkley as an account representative. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sue Brown Evans of McDonough; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Julie Evans of Mableton; siblings, Charles Evans, Carol Urmy, Charlotte Stockdale, and Robert Evans; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Chris Evans will be Friday, May 9, 2008 - 11:00: AM at Glen Haven Baptist Church with Rev. Ralph Easterwood officiating. Interment will be at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park. Dear Sue, Richard and Julie,

Our most sincere sympathies go out to you and all of the Evans' family. Chris and all the Georgia Evans' family were so wonderful to us over the years - your kindness and support will never be forgotten! Like Bill, I too have fond memories of Chris - he could always make you laugh! You are all in our thoughts and prayers - God bless.
