Christopher Scamardo Obituary

Christopher Joseph Scamardo entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at the age of 76. Mr. Scamardo was a native of New Orleans, a resident of Metairie and served in the United States Army. He was a longtime member of The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 37. Beloved husband of Amelia Vargas Scamardo for 49 years. Son of the late Anthony Thomas Scamardo and Lena Rita Lopiccolo Scamardo. Loving father of Margaret Pardo, Lidia Scamardo and Emilio Christopher Scamardo. Father in law of Joseph G. Pardo and Donna Scamardo. Brother of May Rose Wool, Michael Scamardo and the late Earl Scamardo, Rita Scamardo Bodenheimer and Anthony Thomas Scamardo Jr. Grandfather of Destiny, Joshua, Devin, Hunter, Ian, Avery and Christian. Great grandfather of Ethan and Lil Sam the 5th. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation at St. Ann Church and Shrine, 3601 Transcontinental Drive, Metairie, La. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10:00 am, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, masses offered for Christopher are preferred. The family invites you to share your thoughts, fond memories, and condolences online at www.lakelawnmetairie.com.
