Eight years later and you´re never far from my mind. Time has allowed for healing but I can still remember the rawness of those emotions. You are never forgotten and remembered with love.

Its been 4 years and it still feels like yesterday. I still pray for Chris mom and dad as the loss of a child is one of the hardest things to go through. May the two of them have more peace than they did a year ago and that they may be able to have a joy that surpasses all human understanding. Chris was such a sweet spirit. I could always see his halo.

Chris I could never explain how much you still mean to me... I've lost my best friend.... My soulmate... I love you so much and I miss you more than words could ever describe.... You gave me the last year of your life and for that I can never repay you.... You're still on my mind daily and will be in my heart until the day I die....

I cannot believe it's been this long since you've been gone. My heart aches every time I think of the fact that Chris is no longer in this world. I know that he's in a much better place .every time I'm dealing with a problem he's the first person I want to call! He was a very good friend to me. We dated off and on. I Met Chris when I was 13 and he was 16. We both love music very much. He was also a very good friend to my brother Billy hallo. And practically a son to my parents Tom and Debbie hallo. Chris there is an empty space in the world without you. And there's nobody else that can fill the void. You aren't the only one that I lost when I lost you. There is been such a big gap in friendships since the day you died. You are the glue that holds a lot of us together! And you will always be missed. I just hope one day I can see you in the sky when that day comes for me!

I was so fortunate to have known Chris for almost half of my life. He had such a kind heart and was one of the nicest people I've ever known. He was a friend that I could always count on no matter the occasion. I have so many fond memories of him that I could fill a chapter book. He was a part of many of my "firsts" in life - my first love, my first roommate, my first heartache, my first real "relationship quarrel," my first beach trip without my family, my first prom date, my first grocery trip as an adult, and my first long-lasting best friend. Chris was and will always be in my thoughts. I will miss his corny jokes and silly puns. I will miss his smile and laugh. I will miss reminiscing with him about the silly shinanegans we got into when we were teenagers. I will miss him.

Carol, Stan, Lindsay, and Jonathan - There are no words to describe how much my heart hurts for you all. He loved and appreciated you all so very much - this I know for certain. Though I cannot be there to say goodbye to him and to hug each of you, please know that you are in my thoughts and heart.

Mr. And Mrs. Smith,

I'm so sorry for your loss. This is definitely not something any of us could imagine happening. I am sending lots of love, prayer, and vibes yalls way. Chris was such a great friend to me. I wish I had been closer to Alabama so I could've seen him more. He was always with me in high school. We always cracked jokes, were therefor each other, and made memories together. He was an amazing man. I hope we all cherish the memories we had with him. I hope he is at peace. I wish I could be there to support and hug everyone. My condolences to all who lost such a bright light. I'm still in shock. Love you all.

Chris- I will miss you every day for the rest of my life. You meant so much more to everyone than you realized. You were one of the best friends I've ever had. I'm not sure there will ever be a way to really say out loud how much I'm going to miss you. I love you so much and I will see you again, just not soon enough.
To the Smith family: Thank you for raising such a loving, kind, generous child. He gave his friends anything they ever asked for without hesitation. He loved everybody so much and never failed to show it. Chris loved you all so much and spoke often of how grateful he was to have you. Your support for him was never ending...and the love we all have for him will be never ending as well. You have my greatest sympathy.

I don't have adequate words to describe how amazing you were. Over the past few days I keep seeing people say what a big heart you had, and that's so true. I will hold on to the memories forever. It's just so hard to believe I will never get to hug my Chris-Y-Poo again. I pray you are at peace. I love you! And will miss you always. they say only the good die young, and you were one of the best. See ya on the other side some day. Damn, I'm gonna miss you.

Miss Carol and Mr. Stanley and family, I am so sorry for what you are going through. I know it doesn't compare to the void I Feel. Please feel free to contact me anytime. I feel like I know you guys from Chris talking about you so much.
