Dale Curtis Obituary

Curtis, Dale A.
passed away on Jan. 1, 2017. He was born May 2, 1955 in Chico, CA. He moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1971 and graduated from Peoria High School. Dale worked at Lincoln Laser Company, where he was a dedicated and loyal employee for over 38 years. He was uniquely qualified and held a variety of positions that utilized his deep knowledge and resourcefulness, and was known as the "go-to" person for many projects. He applied the same dedication and resourcefulness to every aspect of his life. He was a great friend and neighbor to so many people, always willing to lend a hand with his incredible smile. He loved his family with all his heart and always put them first. He is survived by his wife Donna Curtis; three children, Angela, Reed, and Elizabeth; six grandchildren, Monet, Zoey, Maxwell, Alexis, Colt, and Alexander; and two brothers Ric (Vicki) and Chris. He joins his parents in Heaven. He was the greatest friend to all and dearly loved by all who knew him. Until we meet again...A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 in the sanctuary with reception to follow at: First United Methodist Church of Phoenix, 5510 North Central Avenue Phoenix, Arizona 85012.

Dale was loved by everyone he worked with and ALWAYS greeted us all with his unforgettable and priceless smile. He was a man of great character and integrity. Oh, and I can't leave out dependable, you could always count on him, his word was as good as gold. Dale will be missed terribly by many for sure, especially his colleagues and coworkers. Many of us have become close personal friends over the past 38 years. His departure from this earth has come way to soon and he has left an indelible impression on our hearts and our company. He was one of kind and can never be replaced. Dale is gone from us now but will never be forgotten and will live on in our hearts forever.

I had the honor of watching Elizabeth the first of her 5 years and later...summer vacation...which led to frequent visits from you. You always walked in the door with a smile and something to make me laugh with those twinkles in your eyes...wow, what a way to start or end the day. More than not you would call Donna while walking out the door, then ending your call to her and say "I love you". You were and are a beautiful spirit. You, Donna and Elizabeth continued to make me part of your lives. My heart goes out to Donna, Elizabeth, Reed, Angel and all your Grandchildren. All of us who knew you are truly blessed.

Such a short time that it seems that we talked as friends. Now so quickly God needed you for some special reason you leave. I will never forget the laughs and talks we shared. Thank you for being my friend at work.
