MONTGOMERY - Dale P. Davidson, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

He was born in Brockton, MA on February 8, 1949 to the late Ralph & Mary (Gardner) Davidson.

Dale graduated from high school and then was drafted into the U.S. Navy. He was a dedicated soldier, and proud Vietnam Veteran. He was not just a cooper known for his exceptional woodworking skills; he was a man of the woods and an adventurer at heart. With his keen eye for crafting beautiful log homes and unique handcrafted pieces, he brought warmth and character to every project he undertook. Known in town for his famous "Dale Dukes," he was also a dedicated trapper, earning the respect of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His spirit will live on in the countless pieces he crafted, and the memories shared by those who knew him.

He is survived by his three children, Dr. Elizabeth Davidson, Daren Davidson and his wife Renee, and Dawn Davidson; three grandchildren, Elena Wells, Eva Davidson, and Alexis Savoy; four great grandchildren, Casey, Emmarie, Jeylani, and Lilly; brother, Donnie Davidson; sister, Derrie Brimblecom; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in the community. Dale was predeceased by his parents, Ralph & Mary Davidson; and his grandson, Race Savoy.

Join us as we celebrate and remember "our Dale" on his birthday, Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 2-4:00 PM at The Grange in Montgomery, 57 Main Street, Montgomery, VT. Dale will be laid to rest at the Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph at a later time.
