Evan William Donna, age 20, of Berkshire VT, passed away on August 22, 2025 at the University of Vermont Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Evan sustained injuries from an automobile accident near his home on August 10th. He fought hard for nearly two weeks before his body could no longer continue. Evan was born at the Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, VT on August 9, 2005, the son of Lynn St. Louis and Kim Donna. Evan was the youngest of two children.

Evan went to school in Essex through 8th grade, where he established memorable friendships with fellow classmates and connections with many incredible teachers and mentors. He then attended Richford High School, where he could be closer to his cousins and special childhood friends. He graduated in June of 2023.

Evan worked part time for Larose’s in Enosburg while he was in school. Following high school Evan spent a short time as a welding apprentice at Green Mountain Welding. He then worked for Whitcomb Construction for a period of time as a flagger before he most recently landed at Thomas Mechanical Inc out of South Burlington. Evan really enjoyed working at T.M.I and bonded well with his coworkers and mentors. He was able to take a joke in stride and was often referred to as “Teddy Bear”. Evans’ work family encouraged his potential, and he was planning to begin plumbing courses in the late fall. He would often snap a photo of the sunrise with a song on his early commute to share with friends and family.

Evan had spent most of his free time with his friends. He loved to cruise around town listening to his favorite music. He loved riding his dirt bike, his race quad, his dad’s side by side, as well as snowmobiling with his dad, sister and friends. One of Evan’s most recent hobbies was snowboarding, which he absolutely enjoyed and would refer to as “sick, bro!”. He frequently made trips to the mountain with some of his close friends including John, Liam and Avery. He especially loved night boarding. In his younger years, Evan enjoyed camping and fishing and kayaking with his family, along with trips to Hampton Beach; usually around his birthday.

Evan is survived by his mother, Lynn St. Louis and partner Ken Barry of Essex Junction; his father, Kim Donna of Berkshire; his sister and first best friend, Alexis Donna and partner Oran Lamphere Jr. of Bakersfield; his grandparents, Bonnie and Kevin Donna of Berkshire, his grandfather Bradley Badger of Milton; his great aunt, Wanda Reed of Berkshire; his uncle, Kevin Donna of Berkshire, his uncle, Justin St. Louis and aunt, Linda January of Bridport; his aunt Sarah St. Louis of Shelburne; his cousins, Riley of Guyton, Georgia; Harley of Troy; and Justica Donna of Richford; Mackenzie Dyer of Marshfield; Evelyn St. Louis of Bridport; Lauren Driscoll of South Carolina; Tonya, Robert, Kyle, Amber and Alex Thompson of Berkshire; and many more great aunts and uncles and cousins. Evan also leaves behind a village of friends from all stages of his life that love him and will miss him dearly.

Evan is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Karen (Fitzgerald) Badger, and Ronald St. Louis; his great grandparents Rayburn and Shirley Donna, and great grandmother Charlene Donna; and his great grandparents, Lucy and Chet Gokey.

Evan was known for his curly red hair, and grew a beard better than most grown men. He was goofy and silly and loved to joke around and be the light in the room that made you laugh. Evan was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone, and whether he was just going to the store, or heading off to work, he would never leave without saying “I love you”. He will leave a huge void in our lives. Evan is and will be loved, beyond measure, forever.

A celebration of Evans' life will be held on September 13th, 2025, starting with a visitation from 10:00AM – 1:00PM at The Goss-Spears Life Celebration Home in Enosburg Falls, VT, 96 Dickenson Ave., Enosburg Falls, VT 05450. A memorial service will follow at 1:00PM. Interment will follow in East Franklin Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Enosburg American Legion, Post 42, following services.

Our family has been touched by the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. We know that Evan would have wanted to help others in need. To honor Evan, we ask that you consider donating blood or making a monetary contribution to the American Red Cross, 32 N Prospect Street Burlington, VT 05401.
