Carol Moss Jensen
Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Carol Moss Jensen, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.
Carol was born on August 28, 1938 in American Falls, Idaho the daughter of Henry Irvin and Velma Byington Moss. She was raised and educated in Rockland, Idaho and graduated from Rockland High School in 1956.
Carol married her sweetheart, Jack Hess Jensen on June 29, 1955 in the Logan LDS Temple and coming from this marriage they have four children, Valerie, Carl, Todd and Cheryl.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served many callings in the church was currently in the Brigham City 12th Ward. When she was eight years old, she was baptized in Rock Creek in Rockland, Idaho.
Carol was an avid reader, loved cooking, cookbooks, making ceramics, needle work and being with her family.
Surviving are her four children: Valerie Ann (Rick) Schmidtgall; Carl Irvin (Merrilynn) Jensen; Keith Todd (Ruth) Jensen and Cheryl Barcelou; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; one brother David Ike Moss.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack, one grandson, David Andersen Jensen and two brothers, Keith Moss and Don Moss.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 12:30 pm at the Brigham City Cemetery, 495 S 500 E. A viewing will be held at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E 200 S., Brigham City, Utah on Tuesday from 11:00 to 12:00 pm.
