My condolences to the Logan family. It was a privilege to work with David at Illinois Arts Council for over twenty years. His commitment to and passion for arts and education were evident in the pride he had from bringing art of all disciplines into schools and the lives of young people. We have lost a Renaissance man.

My condolences to the entire Logan family. David was a wise, generous and funny man. I will always remember the trip to Omaha to join him for a Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting and driving him to the various events of that weekend. I was honored to have had David as an investor in my fund and as a mentor. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to Brother Jonathan, Reva and the entire Logan family. I loved David very much, would see him each and every day I worked at Peterson, Ross law firm on 72nd floor of the Aon building in Chicago. He had a great sense of humor, he was my mentor and I learned a great deal from him each and every day. I met him because his dear son Jonathan was my fraternity brother, whom I also love very much.

Condolences from Lillian, Barry, and Jay Schiff. Our families had a lot of great experiences together going back 50 years when we were teenagers. Dan, when you feel like it, get in touch.

It was our privilege to meet both David and Reva Logan at an event honoring our brother Robert Flynn Johnson at the Palace of Fine Artis in San Francisco and we will always remember having the best conversation with Mr Logan about Chicago

Although I worked for David many years ago, the influence he has had on me is ongoing . He always challenged you to be your best. Most importantly, he taught me that “it’s not against the law to think”. David, you will be missed, but never forgotten – condolences to the Logan family.

Having taught with Reva at WCNS for many years, I got to know Dave and his unique humor. He was an amazing man with a heart to match.
My condolences to the family.

To the Logan Family; I have lost a great friend as we all have, we shared so many great times together. One of my favorite memories was when David went to the Cub's playoff game with my daughter Blair and my wife Cindy. And to top that off the special moments we had in San Franciso at his literary event!

I will miss David's ways & restaurants!!! God Bless you David.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Reva and the entire Family.
Cecelia thank you!

My friend Dave has gone on a hike to that great jazz concert in the sky. May he always have a chicken pot pie, a new project, a story to tell, a deadly backhand slice, and his never ending passion for justice intact. A true original, there ain't many like him left. I was a much better person for knowing him and I will treasure the memories of our time together. Many condolences to his family, colleagues and fans

Death leaves a heartache
no one can heal;
Love leaves a memory no
one can steal.
Thank you David for all that you have given to the Arts over these many years.
Our deepest condolences to the Logan Family.
